Well the update to my garden news is I keep missing the male Blackcap and a small flock of Goldfinches that are actually finally eating my Niger seeds Wohoo!!!!
I have some pics of the female Blackcap and Goldfinches that I will put up - but you will have to trust me that it is a female Blackcap as all you can see is the bum haha.
Haven't been on in a while as not much birding done - went to Swords Estuary last weekend but nowt unusual - just Siobhan's favs but with a twist ........ a BLUE sky.... so it was blue sky, blue water and brown/grey waders haha.
Should have more next week as this weekend will be full of birds - Wicklow all weekend.
Hope I can get a glimpse of a Red Kite. Here's hoping.

I was on my way to swords on sunday but ended up in phoenix park and then bull island - would have been cool to bump into you at swords - another time.
I'm actually quite liking the waders now I have the loan of the scope - can actually see the detail.
Plus - they stay there and don't fly off as soon as you see them - big bonus points!
